City of Bhangra, Canada's Largest Bhangra Festival

Vancouver, B.C., January 31, 2008 – The streets will come alive, once again, with the beat of the dhol, and the stomping of feet as Bell presents the City of Bhangra Festival from February 29 – March 8, 2008. The festival, organized by the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration (VIBC) Society, encourages cultural exploration and community participation through a diverse series of events highlighting the Northern Indian art form of Bhangra.
