Tickets to City of Bhangra Festival events are now available through Ticketmaster.ca or by calling 604.280.4444. Purchase tickets for Bhangra Authentic and Transfusion, both part of the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad, and the Coast Capital Bhangra Competition, starring ten of North America’s finest Bhangra dance teams and international superstar, Malkit Singh and the Golden Star Group.
Tickets to the competition can also be purchased at Kamal's Video Palace in Surrey, Anmol Video in Abbotsford and Tasleem's Video in Vancouver.

Official City of Bhangra After Party Announced
Legendary star Malkit Singh and the Golden Star Band are joined by special guests at the Official City of Bhangra After Party, taking place at the former Storyeum location in Gastown, Vancouver. Event Feature: Bhangra:Authentic
Co-presented by the VIBC Society and the Cultural Olympiad, this original presentation brings together performers and teachers of folk music and dance in an informative and interactive stage production. This production was also staged at the 2007 Vancouver Folk Music Festival.

Event Feature: City of Bhangra Art Exhibit
Experience the art of Bhangra on canvas at the Art + Soul Gallery. This exhibit features the work of local artists and commissions new pieces created specifically for the exhibit. The spirit of Bhangra is interpreted and evoked in vibrant displays using acrylic and oil paint, pencil drawings and sculpture.
This free exhibit runs from February 24 – March 9 at the Art + Soul Gallery, located at 1277 Robson Street, Vancouver. Be a part of the experience and feel Bhangra like you’ve never felt before!
