Volunteerism & Outreach

Volunteerism is a key value of the VIBC Society that is embraced whole-heartedly. As a not-for-profit organization, we realize the importance of giving our time to help the greater good.

This is why our members are active volunteers at a variety of Ek Shandar Shaam, an annual fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital, created and hosted each year by Andy and Pauline Basi.

Another event the VIBC Society is active in is the Deepak Binning Foundation Walk that benefits a variety of charities in BC. Members of the VIBC Society also participate in A World of Smiles Telethon for BC Children's Hospital, on Shaw Multicultural Channel.
